We help people embrace Islam. Not by convincing the unconvinced. But by helping those who are already convinced, yet aren't taking the final step because of some issue. We help them to overcome their issues.

Why we need your support
Google sees ~30k searches each month around the phrase "how to convert to Islam". Our goal is to attract those searchers and help them overcome any obstacles which may hold them back from converting.
Volunteers do help us wherever possible. But the professional work is done through paid professionals. As monetising is easier said than done, we need your support.

Those recipients need your help and you must keep helping them. But you can't compare the reward you'll get for helping people embrace Islam to anything else. Although overcome.tv helps people to embrace Islam, it is not a da'wa organisation as we don't try to convince anybody of anything. We are a social support project that helps those who are already convinced to overcome the obstacles they face in their journey to God. All you're doing is helping us do what you would do on local scale, but on a much larger scale.I'm not wealthy
One of the devil's tricks is to make you feel that you either have to make massive donations or nothing at all. Something is definitely better than nothing and small with you is big with Allah. So don't let this or any other idealistic reasoning stop you from donating.Frequently Asked Questions
Is overcome.tv a registered charity?
Not yet! We're currently finalising things with the 3 potential trustees. After that, it will take 6-8 weeks to register as a charity. Until then, we exist as a non-profit limited company is registered in England & Wales.
How do I keep up-to-date?
As a Patron, we will send you a monthly update summarising the previous month and linking you to relevant blog posts so you can get more details.
What if I change my mind?
You can reduce/increase your patronage amount or cancel it altogether at any time. For now, you’d do this by emailing us. In the future, insha-Allah, you’ll be able to do this through a self-service interface.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. Every time we charge your card, we will also email you an invoice as proof of donation.How is overcome.tv operating with a revenue deficit?
Through Allah's kindness, shortfalls have been made up through just-in-time sporadic 1-time donations as well as debts to our service providers. It's a risky situation that can't last for long.What if I have another question?

Almighty Allah says, "Spend out of the sustenance that We have bestowed on you before that time when death will come to someone, and he shall say: O my Lord! If only you would grant me reprieve for a little while, then I would give in charity, and be among the righteous." He also says, "O you who believe! Spend of that with which We have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession."
He also says, "Those who spend their wealth (in Allah's way) by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve."
He also says, "Spend of that which He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allah's way), theirs will be a great reward."
He also says, "Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you."
Meanwhile, Allah's Messenger (saaws) said that, "A generous person is close to Allah, close to Paradise, close to people, and far from Hell. Whilst a miserly person is far from Allah, far from Paradise, far from people, but close to Hell. Allah loves more an ignorant man who is generous than a worshipper who is miserly."
He also said that "Every day, 2 angels come down. One says, 'O Allah! Compensate everyone who spends in Your Cause,' whilst the other says, 'O Allah! Destroy everyone who holds back.'" And, in line with that, he also said, "Wealth does not diminish by giving charity."
He also said that "He who called to righteousness, for him is a reward like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect." He also said that, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three... his ongoing charity, knowledge by which people benefit or a pious son who prays for him."
